This award is a fantastic recognition of the craftsmanship, attention to detail and hard work that went into bringing this home to life.
Our Weston project was a particularly special transformation, involving the complete rebuild and extension of an existing home following significant fire damage.
With the original home demolished down to the slab, the project presented an opportunity to reimagine the space, creating a contemporary family home that combines striking architectural features with everyday functionality.
The result is a beautifully finished home with an industrial-inspired facade, spacious interiors and carefully considered details throughout.
One of the standout features of the Weston project is its distinctive industrial-style exterior, complemented by a custom steel entrance door and a combination of Fairview Genesis and Weathertex cladding.
Inside, raked ceilings and eight skylights create a wonderful sense of space and natural light, while underfloor heating throughout adds comfort all year round.
At the heart of the home is a beautifully appointed kitchen featuring a generous island bench and a cleverly concealed butler’s kitchen, combining style with everyday practicality.
The living area features a striking fireplace with integrated wood storage, a recessed TV and feature panelling, while a spacious alfresco area provides the perfect space for entertaining. A dedicated media room, beautifully appointed master and guest ensuites, and premium finishes throughout complete the home.
Every detail has been carefully considered to create a home that balances contemporary design, comfort and functionality.
Receiving this recognition from the Housing Industry Association (HIA) is an incredibly proud moment for the entire P&D Kay Constructions team.
Projects like Weston are a testament to the skill, dedication and collaboration involved in delivering a high-quality custom home.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to our talented team, trades, suppliers and, of course, our clients for trusting us to bring their home to life.
